Im thinking of buying the Fallout 3 dlc's, but i want to know if i have to finish the game to play them and if so how do i run the dlc's on PC i have also brought Fallout 3 off steam and i buy the dlc's of it to just a little bit of info?Do you have to finish the Fallout 3 to play dlc's for it on PC?
Only for the broken steel dlc. The others, operation anchorage, the pitt, ect. you can play right when you get outside the vault.Do you have to finish the Fallout 3 to play dlc's for it on PC?
Nope install the game and dlcs and they will be on the game, some are various other quest or more levels so you don't need to have completed the game.

Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
I am planning on buying fallout 3 soon. My only problem is should i get the regular version for $14, or the GOTY edition for $40? Is all the DLC really worth $26? I have Oblivion GOTY edition and i loved the story but once i started the Shivering isles i got bored of the game and just quit.Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
Get the goty edition. If you like the game and want the dlc you'll pay $9.99 for each pack. All the dlc packs are a lot different so I don't think you'll be bored.
It's definitely worth the $26.
My opinion would be to get the GOTY edition. Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
The DLC is most certainly worth $26, otherwise you would end up paying $50 to get them separately. Broken Steel is the main download, and extends the level cap of the game from 20 to 30 with a bunch of new perks that can really power up your character. It also comes with new weapons, enemies, armors, and areas and changes the ending of the game so that you can actually continue on without having to start a new game or load a previous file. The other four downloads all grant some new areas with new items to be found there as well as new quests (my personal favorite download items are the Stealth Suit from Operation Anchorage combined with the silenced scoped assault rifle from The Pitt).
HELLL YESSS AWSOME GAME!!Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
The DLC pretty much doubles the amount of game play in the game as well as raising the level cap from 20 to 30. I just recently played the game through with all the DLC and I had something like 85 hours of game play in all. Definitely worth getting the GOTY edition for $40.
overall yeah it is. overall the game on its own is great, dont get me wrong, but if you have any idea what you are doing you reach the lvl cap WAY to fast. this makes broken steel essential. anchorage and the pitt are kind of low points for the dlc world. mothership zeta is awesome because it is on a spaceship and has evil robotic ponies (you have to look for them, but trust me theyre in the weapons lab) and point lookout gives a whole new area to explore. so yeah it is worth an extra 26$

I need help with the progression on Fallout 3 DLC?
So my question is....
I am getting Fallout 3 GOTY
I see all these special add-ons and DLC.
How do I play all of them I don't wanna play one then miss the next one because I chose wrong or does it work that way?
Like example....
Do I play it in order it came out or does the game just reconize the DLC as one big game? Or in multiple parts.I need help with the progression on Fallout 3 DLC?
It doesn't work like that. You get radio transmissions and you investigate them, it doesn't matter which one you do first, and you don't have to do any of them if you don't want to. (except Broken Steel, which starts after you complete the main quest) I would recommend doing Project Anchorage as soon as you can, as it gives you Chinese Stealth Armor and T51B power armor and the Gauss Rifle. The other DLC's are good and give you perks and weapons (silenced assault rifles in The Pitt, and the Alien Blaster in Mothership Zeta) but the Chinese Stealth Armor gives you +15 stealth and invisibility when you crouch, and the T51B power armor does not degrade like normal power armor.

How do I get the Fallout 3 DLC to work on PS3?
I previously sold my old copy, and got a new one once the dlc came out, and I had to make a new file, but I recently bought the dlc, and it won't show up in the download list. It doesn't acknowledge that I bought it except for the Game date utility. Any help would be appreciated. How do I get the Fallout 3 DLC to work on PS3?
instead of going on here when you have questions about playstation games why dont you just go to playstaition.com and go to support page and look at FAQ or call them.

Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Ok so i know your other followers get fired when you go into DLC for fallout and that you can hire them back when you come back from it what about dogmeat He isn't really someone you hire so does he show up at the vault when you come back or is he gone unless you have the puppies perk.Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Yep, you can get him back,
he just goes to wait for you outside vault 101
then you can talk to him and get him to join you again
noprDoes Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Should unless you killed him or got him killed
Pissed me off when I played fallout 3 cause I never found any followers until the end of the game. I didn't do the stupid mine field early on because it seemed boring so I didn't find the cool dog until after I found the talking mutant. :(Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Yeah you have to get him he doesn't come back. He'll be at Vault 101. If you had other followers you would have to go back to where you found them to get them back, I think?

Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
Hi I was just wondering if the DLC for NV is even worth it because I've spent so much time playing the Game Of The Year edition of fallout 3 that at one point it became tiresome. I could easily pick up Fallout NV used for under 10 but what I would like to know is the dlc that's gonna be included in the ultimate edition worth it?Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
I really like fallout New Vegas, actually some parts of it are better than fallout 3. The DLC's are totally awesome especially old world blues, which one an award for best DLC. You definitely should buy it, especially if you're getting tired of fallout 3.Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
Dead Money - isn't bad, but isn't fantastic either. Depends on how into fallout you are.
Honest Heart - Like above, but riddled with many bugs. After i installed it i couldn't start the game. I recommend that you check they've solved the problems with this addon. Otherwise it's pretty good.
Old World Blues - DEFINITELYY worth the money. The story is great, the gameplay is great, the characters are great. Almost every location has stories, background and/or secrets. One of the best DLC in the fallout series
Lonesome Road - Not bad. The story is good, the companion is nice, events are also good and the world is interesting as well.Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
Fallout New Vegas is a great game and deal. I have been playing the game for about three weeks and like the last one, it has its glitches like the game freezing and characters that get stuck in the walls but unlike the previous version, I did not have to fork out $60 for it!! If you like the last Fallout, glitches and all, then you'll love this one at this great price.
