Where can I get the Fallout New Vegas DLC cards?

I'm looking to buy all of the Fallout New Vegas DLC's in download cards for the xbox 360. i could not find them on amazon or anywhere else online though... where can i get them all? thanks.Where can I get the Fallout New Vegas DLC cards?
gamestop has them i seen them just the other day :P hope it helpsWhere can I get the Fallout New Vegas DLC cards?
game-stop best or try ebay but gamestop better and safer but microsoft points is better there easy to use and can be found just about anywhereWhere can I get the Fallout New Vegas DLC cards?
They don't exist. Only certain games do that. Most games, you buy microsoft points cards, and use those to purchase the DLC. Fallout NV (and Fallout 3) did not create DLC cards.

Should buy the fallout 3 now and the game add ons or should i wait for the release of the new fallout 3 dlc?

what i meant was should i buy the fallout 3 now and the 3 dlc or should i wait for the new fallout bundle ? the bundle contains the fallout 3 disc and the 3 dlc and the 2 new dlc? which will be release on august?Should buy the fallout 3 now and the game add ons or should i wait for the release of the new fallout 3 dlc?
If you REALLY want to get it now, then go for it. But if you want to get the game and all 5 DLCs for the price of one game I suggest getting it in October. That's when the Game of the Year Edition is coming out and it includes all 5 DLCs and of course the game itself.

That's what I'm doing.Should buy the fallout 3 now and the game add ons or should i wait for the release of the new fallout 3 dlc?
I would wait... that way you end up spending less money for more things.Should buy the fallout 3 now and the game add ons or should i wait for the release of the new fallout 3 dlc?
ok game stop is having a game day one june 2nd fallout 3 is an amazing game and has been out for a while so u should be able too get 50% off fallout 3 and then you buy the 3 Dlcs and then buy the new ones august you should save about $30 and be able to afford the 2 new dlcs if you save your money for about a month. but game day might now not be june second so you should check on at gamestop.com and figure out when it is first

  • Who knows about Fallout 3 dlc Broken Steel?

If I get the dlc expansion "Broken Steel" for "Fallout 3", I know that I can carry on the game after the original ending, and also that my level cap goes up from 20 to 30.

My question is, will all my unfinished quests from the main game still be available?

Thanks!Who knows about Fallout 3 dlc Broken Steel?
yes all unfinished quests are still available, as well as the new side quests.

also the expansion leaves the game open so even after completing the DLC you can go back and complete any side missions
I just got it, and i had completed all of the missions. I started at a save point in the middle of the game so i could still redo some levels and it pops up and tells you that the level cap has been raised. You still can do all the old missions no prob.

Even if you started a new character and went through them again you would be able to get to level 30 and then continue on after the original ending.Who knows about Fallout 3 dlc Broken Steel?
yes, what ever you did not finish you can now keep on going and finish all of the side quests and any thing else you would like to do.hope this helps.good luck in the wastelands.
Even after beating the main quest, you can still do every quest that has not been finished before beating the main quest. Even afyer beating all the Broken Steel DLC, the game still doesn't end and all side quests are still available.Who knows about Fallout 3 dlc Broken Steel?
Actually, only with Broken Steel will those unfinished quests be finishable. For example, if you didn't save Red from the Muties in Big Town, you still can, if that's what you're asking.
Yes it will still be available

Ive narrowed it down now i need help? also confused about DLC for fallout 3 and dragon age?

    playing on a 360

Oblivion GOTY edition- Got most votes from everyone on here

    Fallout 3- looks very interesting

Dragon Origins- Dont know too much about it??

What DLC for Fallout 3 makes the game better? or for Dragon Origins?Ive narrowed it down now i need help? also confused about DLC for fallout 3 and dragon age?
Oblivion isn't really my type of game, but Fallout 3 with all the DLC was awesome. Dragon Age: Origins will be exciting to play as well. There are 5 DLC for Fallout 3, Operation Anchorage which takes you through a simulation on an adventure as a soldier before the nukes dropped on the world. Point Lookout takes you to a harbor, similar to many others, they have a mansion there where you will meet a ghoul named Desmond and help him or his rival to the treasure first. Broken Steel is how you raise your level limitation from 20 to 30, which holds more perks and weapons then any of the others. It's after you wake up after your near death experience. The Pitt is where you go undercover as a slave, even though I have never played it, I've watch a Let's Play on it on youtube, you go undercover and you have an option of either helping the slaver or the slaves, either way your right and wrong. Last but not least, Mothership Zeta, where you get abducted by aliens and you go onboard an alien ship and you and a few others you rescue have to break out. All of the DLC hold unique weapons and armor and perks of the sort, but they all contribute to the awesome gameplay and storyline. All in all, I pick Fallout 3.Ive narrowed it down now i need help? also confused about DLC for fallout 3 and dragon age?
the fallout game of the year edition will last you a while, theres alot there, the strategy guide is like 750 pages or something ridiculous

dragon age has taken me forever to beat it but i have pretty much stopped playing it, i have heard some people say they blew thru it in like 20 hours though, took me like 50 or so because i felt the need to do every stupid side quest

you may wanna wait, that divinity game comes out in january and it lets you play as a dragon, looks cool...also, if you play dragon age be prepared to micro manage. i had like 9 party members and it became a pain to manage each person's stats, weapons, armor, skills/talents, combat tactics, etc. also, dragon age is like 60% asking questions and listening to boring answers and maybe like 20% actual fighting and 20% micro managing (it is basically mass effect but not in space)

Do you have to finish the Fallout 3 to play dlc's for it on PC?

Im thinking of buying the Fallout 3 dlc's, but i want to know if i have to finish the game to play them and if so how do i run the dlc's on PC i have also brought Fallout 3 off steam and i buy the dlc's of it to just a little bit of info?Do you have to finish the Fallout 3 to play dlc's for it on PC?
Only for the broken steel dlc. The others, operation anchorage, the pitt, ect. you can play right when you get outside the vault.Do you have to finish the Fallout 3 to play dlc's for it on PC?
Nope install the game and dlcs and they will be on the game, some are various other quest or more levels so you don't need to have completed the game.

Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?

I am planning on buying fallout 3 soon. My only problem is should i get the regular version for $14, or the GOTY edition for $40? Is all the DLC really worth $26? I have Oblivion GOTY edition and i loved the story but once i started the Shivering isles i got bored of the game and just quit.Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
Get the goty edition. If you like the game and want the dlc you'll pay $9.99 for each pack. All the dlc packs are a lot different so I don't think you'll be bored.

    It's definitely worth the $26.
My opinion would be to get the GOTY edition. Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
The DLC is most certainly worth $26, otherwise you would end up paying $50 to get them separately. Broken Steel is the main download, and extends the level cap of the game from 20 to 30 with a bunch of new perks that can really power up your character. It also comes with new weapons, enemies, armors, and areas and changes the ending of the game so that you can actually continue on without having to start a new game or load a previous file. The other four downloads all grant some new areas with new items to be found there as well as new quests (my personal favorite download items are the Stealth Suit from Operation Anchorage combined with the silenced scoped assault rifle from The Pitt).
HELLL YESSS AWSOME GAME!!Is The Fallout 3 DLC worth it?
The DLC pretty much doubles the amount of game play in the game as well as raising the level cap from 20 to 30. I just recently played the game through with all the DLC and I had something like 85 hours of game play in all. Definitely worth getting the GOTY edition for $40.
overall yeah it is. overall the game on its own is great, dont get me wrong, but if you have any idea what you are doing you reach the lvl cap WAY to fast. this makes broken steel essential. anchorage and the pitt are kind of low points for the dlc world. mothership zeta is awesome because it is on a spaceship and has evil robotic ponies (you have to look for them, but trust me theyre in the weapons lab) and point lookout gives a whole new area to explore. so yeah it is worth an extra 26$

Which fallout new vegas dlc should i get?

    So my question is....

I am getting Fallout 3 GOTY

I see all these special add-ons and DLC.

How do I play all of them I don't wanna play one then miss the next one because I chose wrong or does it work that way?

    Like example....

Do I play it in order it came out or does the game just reconize the DLC as one big game? Or in multiple parts.I need help with the progression on Fallout 3 DLC?
It doesn't work like that. You get radio transmissions and you investigate them, it doesn't matter which one you do first, and you don't have to do any of them if you don't want to. (except Broken Steel, which starts after you complete the main quest) I would recommend doing Project Anchorage as soon as you can, as it gives you Chinese Stealth Armor and T51B power armor and the Gauss Rifle. The other DLC's are good and give you perks and weapons (silenced assault rifles in The Pitt, and the Alien Blaster in Mothership Zeta) but the Chinese Stealth Armor gives you +15 stealth and invisibility when you crouch, and the T51B power armor does not degrade like normal power armor.

How do I get the Fallout 3 DLC to work on PS3?

Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?

Ok so i know your other followers get fired when you go into DLC for fallout and that you can hire them back when you come back from it what about dogmeat He isn't really someone you hire so does he show up at the vault when you come back or is he gone unless you have the puppies perk.Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Yep, you can get him back,

he just goes to wait for you outside vault 101

then you can talk to him and get him to join you again
noprDoes Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Should unless you killed him or got him killed
Pissed me off when I played fallout 3 cause I never found any followers until the end of the game. I didn't do the stupid mine field early on because it seemed boring so I didn't find the cool dog until after I found the talking mutant. :(Does Dogmeat return when you come back from DLC in fallout 3?
Yeah you have to get him he doesn't come back. He'll be at Vault 101. If you had other followers you would have to go back to where you found them to get them back, I think?

Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?

Hi I was just wondering if the DLC for NV is even worth it because I've spent so much time playing the Game Of The Year edition of fallout 3 that at one point it became tiresome. I could easily pick up Fallout NV used for under 10 but what I would like to know is the dlc that's gonna be included in the ultimate edition worth it?Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
I really like fallout New Vegas, actually some parts of it are better than fallout 3. The DLC's are totally awesome especially old world blues, which one an award for best DLC. You definitely should buy it, especially if you're getting tired of fallout 3.Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
Dead Money - isn't bad, but isn't fantastic either. Depends on how into fallout you are.

Honest Heart - Like above, but riddled with many bugs. After i installed it i couldn't start the game. I recommend that you check they've solved the problems with this addon. Otherwise it's pretty good.

Old World Blues - DEFINITELYY worth the money. The story is great, the gameplay is great, the characters are great. Almost every location has stories, background and/or secrets. One of the best DLC in the fallout series

Lonesome Road - Not bad. The story is good, the companion is nice, events are also good and the world is interesting as well.Is the DLC in Fallout New Vegas worth it?
Fallout New Vegas is a great game and deal. I have been playing the game for about three weeks and like the last one, it has its glitches like the game freezing and characters that get stuck in the walls but unlike the previous version, I did not have to fork out $60 for it!! If you like the last Fallout, glitches and all, then you'll love this one at this great price.

Will the upcoming Fallout New Vegas dlc let you roam the Mojave Wasteland?

*Caution: Contains spoilers* I know at the end of Fallout New Vegas, the game ends regardless of the path you choose. You don't get to continue the story or get to roam around the Mojave Wasteland, but with the upcoming DLC this holiday, I am wondering if you will get the chance to roam again, similar to the Broken Steel add-on in Fallout 3.Will the upcoming Fallout New Vegas dlc let you roam the Mojave Wasteland?
My guess is that it will extend past the ending. If not with the first DLC, then eventually with one in the future. The demand for that feature is too great for Obsidian and Bethsoft to ignore. Will the upcoming Fallout New Vegas dlc let you roam the Mojave Wasteland?
There's a high possibility you'll be able to or that you will be able to explore "locked" areas of the game, such as the train tunnel or east past the ncr outpost. (If you play around with noclip, you can see some large land pieces with absolutely nothing, those are likely to be dlc places.)Will the upcoming Fallout New Vegas dlc let you roam the Mojave Wasteland?
Chances are that you will be able to go on farther than your previous boundaries. Its a way for them to make some extra cash

If I delete Fallout DLC on my xbox, can I play them all over again?

I need to get the audio files from the Mothership. But I already passed it so everything is inaccessible. If I delete the DLC will I be able to play it all over again? If I delete Fallout DLC on my xbox, can I play them all over again?
I don't have a 360 (I own a PS3), so I'm sorry if this won't help you much, but I'm pretty sure that if you want to play the DLC over, you should try deleting the save file first before deleting the DLC. If you delete the content itself and reinstall it, the game will probably still won't let you go back to that certain point as long as there's still a save file of it on your 360.

Hope this helps a little. %26lt;3

How do you play Fallout DLC "Broken Steel"?

I just got xbox live this morning and i bought the "broken steel" download but i can't figure out how to get to it. I went to the downloads screen on the main menu and that didn't help. I also tried finish my regualr fallout 3 game and nothing happened then either. PLEASE HELP!How do you play Fallout DLC "Broken Steel"?
Not sure if this helps, but this is what's on Bethesda's website:

How do I start Broken Steel?

You must play the game for a couple minutes for the Broken Steel content to appear. After a couple minutes, a radio beacon and the questline will become available. To begin the Broken Steel questline, you must complete the main quest by finishing "Take it Back."

With Broken Steel, the main quest of Fallout 3 will have to be completed before the new story unfolds. If you have not completed the main quest, your character will still be able to take advantage of the level cap being raised to 30.How do you play Fallout DLC "Broken Steel"?
Once you've purchased and downloaded any DLC for Fallout3, all you need to do is load the game as you usually would. Right after the screen with the Brotherhood of Steel helmit on it, you should see a box pop up that says "Loading additional content" (or something similar) for a few seconds.

If you see this box you're good. Just play the game as you normally would and a new radio signal will be detected, starting a quest.

If you don't see the box then its an issue with either x-box live, or your x-box itself. If this is the case you probably have to contact microsoft. How do you play Fallout DLC "Broken Steel"?
Hmm... Well, Broken Steel takes place after the end of fallout 3. If it doesn't start after you finish it, I don't know what's happening.

    Jared.
Well usually it should work after you die on the last bit.

if you did choose to die.

If it still doesn't work try uningstalling it and then download it again.

What is your favorite Fallout New Vagas DLC and why?

I finally got back into fallout after my good old save got corrupted. I made a new save and now im going to get 1 DLC. Which one is the best or your favorite and why? What is your favorite Fallout New Vagas DLC and why?
Old world blues: hilarious characters, nice new weapons, sweet stealth armor that talks to u and automaticaly applies stims and medx, open world with many new locations, new house where u can store your gear, grow plants, make skill books, and heal your rads, health, limbs etc. What is your favorite Fallout New Vagas DLC and why?
I have to agree with the person above. as much as I looove than new .45 submachinegun from honest hearts, old world blues just had too much cool stuff to pass up, and the missions as also intresting. ESPECIALLY if you have the wild wasteland perk (beware of a small deathclaw). the characters are funny, and if you get all of the sink charaters there funny to mess with...like muggy haha.

though who knows, the lastest one hasnt came out yet so who knows?

Hi what do you think of new Mothership DLC for Fallout 3?

Hi I finish playing the new Mothership DLC for Fallout 3 %26amp; it was cool game %26amp; the mission it was easy. It is kind of short but, it was cool %26amp; I enjoy it.

Which Fallout 3 DLC should I buy next? Thank you!Hi what do you think of new Mothership DLC for Fallout 3?
Having gotten them all, I'd put them in the order Broken Steel, Point Lookout, The Pitt, Mothership Zeta, Operation Anchorage.

Zeta has the same problem as Anchorage -- it's very linear and there's no real exploring going on. You pretty much just follow the the one line that the game points you along. The only thing that makes Zeta better than OA is that the weapons are better.

Will the Fallout 3 DLC ever come to the PS3?

I followed this game for six months and was so amazed when i finally got to play it. The only thing i didn't like was that the fallout 3 DLC wasnt going to come to the ps3. I only have a ps3 and definitely not considering buying a 360. If anyone knows if the DLC will ever come to the ps3 please answer my question. Will the Fallout 3 DLC ever come to the PS3?
initialy it was said that it will only be available for xbox 360, but with enough demand (and a little hope) we may see it coming to the ps3. Bethesda stated that it is not 100% that it will only be for xbox360 and PC. I have been following the DLC of this game since it was first discussed. All I can say at this point is hope for the best and keep checking up on the forums. Sign this petition too. Who knows if itll do anything but its worth a shot. Sorry i couldn't help you out more.

    you could do operation anchorage.
The only thing that is really good to get sort of early is the Winterized T-51b Power Armor that you earn at the end of the DLC called Operation Anchorage. But to wear the armor, you will need special training that you can only get from a guy at the Brotherhood's Citadel, and I think his name is Paladin Gunny. He has to teach you how to wear Power Armor. Otherwise, you won't be able to wear any Power Armor.Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?
The first thing I always do is go do the Operation: Anchorage side quest. Then I do something called the "Gary 23 glitch". It basically entails getting weapons from the simulated mission inside the pod the bulk of the quest takes place in and transporting them into your "real world" inventory. These weapons are simulated, so they are unbreakable. Also the Chinese stealth armor is quite an asset for people who like to sneak around. It's basically a suit that has a permanent stealth boy on it that activates and remains in play until you get up from crouching.

Other than the peforator rifle (a silent assault rifle) you get from The Pitt DLC, no other side quest are worth playing at the start of the game, or really suited for a beginner level player for that matter.

    Hope I helped
All add on packs for Fallout 3 are amazing and have good story lines and unique equipment. Each add on provides certain things like the add on Mothership Zeta provides excellent energy and explosives supplies such alien blasters and cyro mines. Broken Steel for an expanded story line and some extra quests to kick some enclave *** and prolong your characters life and level span (the super mutant overlords and albino rad scorpions just are unbelievable though health wise). Operation Anchorage to upgrade you character with power armor (Winterized TB-51 power armor although the ordinary TB-51 armor in classic fallout 3 has 5 more DT than its winterized counterpart) and sneaking armor which is a cool chinese stleath outfit which acts like a stealth boy provides invisibilty but only provides 15 sneak than the stealth boys 100 (still good though). The Pitt which has good melee weaponry and Point Lookout which has good weapons for small guns.Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?
There all equally good but you don't need to play any of them first. The broken steel you have to play after you finish fallout 3 it adds to the storyline at the end.

How does Fallout New Vegas DLC work?

I am planning on buying the Lonesome Road and Old World Blues DLC for Fallout New Vegas on Xbox. (NOTE: I have already beaten the Battle at Hoover Dam.)

    Several questions about DLC:

    - When can you start them?

    - Where do you start them?

    - Are they in a different location (Not in Mojave)

    - If so, can you go back and forth between areas?

    - How long will they take to complete?

Please be specific when answering to get best answer!

Thanks! How does Fallout New Vegas DLC work?

  • Will clearing the cache on my 360 delete the fallout 3 dlc i just downloaded?

i just downloaded all the dlc for fallout 3 yesterday and now it runs "funny" and froze up on once. will clearing the cache delete my dlc and what can i do?Will clearing the cache on my 360 delete the fallout 3 dlc i just downloaded?
No, clearing the cache will not delete the DLC you just dowloaded and even if it did you can download it again at no extra charge since you already bought it.

Clearing the cache will only clear the cache (obviously) and delete updates (if you do it by the system settings option). So next time you start up Fallout 3 after deleting the cache you will have to download any updates that were available.

There are 2 ways to clear the cache:

    1. While the game is starting hold A. When you see the first intro screen it should be cleared.

    OR

    2. Go to Console Settings. Then select Memory and then press Y. There should be an option (after the August 11, 2009 update) that says Clear System Cache. Select that and say yes and it will clear it.
Clearing The cache will only clear all updates if i'm correct and understanding you. If its just glitchy then that's just Fallout because Fallout tends to be glitchy, if its something more try clearing the Cache and redownloading Updates(if one of the Updates may have been corrupted or something like that) or Delete the DLC run the game and see if the game runs fine and redownload. Will clearing the cache on my 360 delete the fallout 3 dlc i just downloaded?
it shouldn't unless you saved it in your cache folder which you probably didn't do
All clearing the cache does is delete all of your patches. Will clearing the cache on my 360 delete the fallout 3 dlc i just downloaded?
it wont i downloaded all the dlc and clear my cache alot and they still run fine one problem is you might need to redo the quests from the dlc

Which is the best DLC for Fallout 3 other than Broken Steel?

I have already gotten Broken Steel for Fallout 3 and I am planning on getting Mothership Zeta in a few days but I want to know which DLC between Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, and Point Lookout is the best.

Between these three which one is best based on added armor, weapons, quests, and playtime?Which is the best DLC for Fallout 3 other than Broken Steel?
A the moment I would have to say Point Lookout (although the armor from Operation: Anchorage is a godsend). Some new weapons are the Shovel, Axe, Double-Barreled Shotgun, Lever Action Rifle. Not much in the way of armor here though.

There are a large amount of quests. Two are pretty involved with multiple legs to the quest, but there's 5 or 6 side-quest types too.

Operation: Anchorage is heavy on combat but has very little dialogue and almost no item collection. Every enemy you kill is vaporized instantly. It's basically just shoot and kill chinese. You get some cool new weapons like the Railway Rifle, Trench Knife. Also, the best armor in the game: Winterized Combat Armor. Not only does it have more armor prot than any other, it never suffers wear and tear.

The Pitt is ok, has an interesting plot line at first but disappoints later on. I was annoyed with how it ended. It's very linear also. The only place to really explore is a steel yard, and an apartment complex. The characters are very shallow also... You get new weapons, the Double-Ax (mechanized axe)and the Infiltrator. Also you can get a cool looking Tribal Power Armor that has unrivaled stat bonuses.Which is the best DLC for Fallout 3 other than Broken Steel?
I would get point lookout. I haven't played Operation: Anchorage, but I heard it was more of a shooter than story. The Pitt was ok, but there's not a lot of added items. However, once you beat the main quest line you get access to the ammo press, which converts ammo and scrap metal into different ammo of your choosing. This is extremely useful if you use Lincoln's Repeater, for you can convert any ammo into the rare .44 magnum rounds.

In Point Lookout, there are lots of added weapons, including the double-barreled shotgun, lever-action rifle, axe, shovel, and more. The double barreled shotgun does about 80-85 damage at full health, but it only has one shot per reload. Some of the clothes include the confederate hat, tribal garb, and coveralls. There's even a pint sized slasher mask + knife like in tranquility lane but you can have it on anywhere. Besides, the added items, there are some pretty fun quests that can be kinda creepy at times, and the world is a lot more open than the other DLC's. Depending on how fast you go, it should add about 5-6 hours of gameplay.

If you have any more questions about the game I would go to the following address.

    http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Wiki

This site is very helpful and there is not much it cannot answer.Which is the best DLC for Fallout 3 other than Broken Steel?
In terms of stealth/range weapons point lookout is definently lacking, you can get an awesome new world and fun new quests. But with anchorage you get a fancy Chinese armor that makes you invisible, in the Pitt you can get a silenced rifle but both lack the quality of point lookout
Point lookout is the 2nd best DLC, It is very open world much like the actual capital wasteland is and the quests are pretty cool and slightly freaky.

How do i play fallout 3 dlc without updates?

so ive played through fallout and all the dlc and last year i did a glitch in the anchorage dlc and did it without the updates. however now i tried deleting the system cache this time around and now i cant access any of the dlc without downloading the update. any idea on how to play the dlc without updating the game? How do i play fallout 3 dlc without updates?
the problem is the dlc. anchorage is kinda glitchy. Just update it. It is not likely to glitch up againHow do i play fallout 3 dlc without updates?
sorry, but i do not know of a way to do that on a 360.

When you play the new DLC for fallout 3 does it continue an already saved game?

I beat the game but my xbox crashed so i don't have it saved anymore. And i want to know if there is any DLC for fallout 3 I can play without an already good character or any DLC that automatically starts a new game. When you play the new DLC for fallout 3 does it continue an already saved game?
You will continue with your old character in the new DLC's unless you select new game.
For Broken Steel, you need to beat the game for it to take effect. So you will probably be a good level. I will say for the actual broken steel quests, a high level is advised because it is difficult at around a level 15.

Operation Anchorage you can do at level 2. It will not be too hard, but you probably not have a very good sneak, therefore having to take enemies out loudly. It uses mostly small guns, a misssile launcher, and 1 energy weapon.

Point Lookout is quite difficult so I would say level 15 should be good.

The Pitt is filled with raiders and probably around level 10 would be a little challaenge. When you play the new DLC for fallout 3 does it continue an already saved game?
no DLC starts a new game, the DLC is added to the Fallout 3 world and you are notified in-game within a game-day of installing- you go to the place it specifies and start the DLC.

The only DLC that isn't instantly available is the Broken Steel DLC, which continues the main quest, which obviously means that you need to finish the Main Quest before starting it.
The only DLC you need to be far in the game for is Broken Steel, as you need to finish the main quest first. However, you can reap its benefits beforehand (higher level cap, new enemies). The Pitt, Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout (also Mothership Zeta too, the new, upcoming DLC) can be accessible as soon as you leave Vault 101 (you receive a radio broadcast) however, they are often a long and perilous journey away to access, and need sufficient preparation to attempt. When you play the new DLC for fallout 3 does it continue an already saved game?
DLC of fallout doesn't start new games it always continues of of savegames, you won't be needing an awesome char for "The Pitt".

Anchorage is medium but for broken steel I'd recommend a high lvl.
you can dowload all of them from start, the only one that will not start is broken steel as it requires you to do the final mission.

How to install/play the Fallout 3 DLC's from the Game of the Year version on the PC?

Which fallout 3 dlc for xbox 360 is the best and why?

Which fallout 3 dlc is the biggest and most fun to play. (if possible please list 1-4 1 being the greatest and 4 being the least) I want to buy 2 of them and i don't want to waste $25 for cheap dlc.Which fallout 3 dlc for xbox 360 is the best and why?
I have every DLC and I find that Broken Steel and Mothership Zeta are the best...

GET: Mothership Zeta (4/4) - Different from the rest of the game and DLCs, more devestating energy weapons, awesome new outfits, walk in space, your own spaceship, much more cinematic than the rest of the game new styled equipment, colectable items.

GET: Broken Steel (4/4) - An increased level cap, more powerfull weapons, extended main quest, new places and people in the wasteland and very small changes in the key areas of the wasteland, many hours of gameplay than the other DLCs...

Point lookout (3/4) - A new "mini wasteland", new scarier enviroment, more mysteries to explore at every corner of the swamps the beaches and the cliffs, long"ish" gameplay, boring new weapons, intersting points of interest. Challenging. Scary new creatures, exciting exploration. Gloomy mysteries. Also new savage equipment and quests.

The Pitt (2/4) - Scary but actiony, around rough people, new silenced weapon, scary new eerie creature, fast paced, enjoyably challenging, collectable items, for helpfull awards, tactical, diverse choice options, glitchy and loaded with bugs, new savage equipment and quests.

Operation Anchorage (1/4) - New enviroments, intersting new animations in DLC, best armour on game included in DLC, helpfull new pieces of euipment at the end, too linear, lacks freedom and exploration, lacks the ability to expierience any new locaions perminantly. Pre-war expierience: weapons and armour have no rust, clothing no dirt, no radiation, collectable items.

It pretty much goes in order, the first few were the least interesting and diverse while the last different, longer, and much more diverse and exciting...

    Hope this helps!

If anyone needs any help on Fallout 3 (Xbox LIVE), My gamertag is: ChrisDRob
I would suggest getting Broken Steel and The Pitt

    DLCs in order of preference

1 (Solely because of advancement to level thirty) Broken Steel is a slight shorter pack, but it allows you to advance your character to level thirty. It is very combat intensive and you get lots of power armor and some new weapons, including the Tesla cannon which ammo is plentiful for.

2 (Better play than Broken Steel) The Pitt is a long add on. It has a good story line and The ignot quest (Long quest if you don't cheat.) gives one of the best weapons in the game (Metal Blaster - Think laser rifle shotgun) many other cool weapons and several good armors. It also grants access to the ammo press, which will covert all small gun ammo to what ever caliber you desire.

3 Point Lookout is average. Good amount of game play Large map, backwards swamp folk, and moonshine. Decent weapons, like double barrel shotguns, a lever action that shoots 10mm, axes and shovels.

4 Operation Anchorage is kind of like metal gear. more sneaking and espionage. Decent amount of play time. The weapons aren't that great except for the Gauss rifle. The winterized power armor is a good set of armor.Which fallout 3 dlc for xbox 360 is the best and why?
    1. Broken steel - Raised level cap, Telsa Cannon

    2. Point Lookout - More in it than others

    3. The Pitt - More in it that Anchorage

    4. Operation: Anchorage - You can't keep anything, including experience, that you get playing through it, but there is the Winterized T51b armor which is the best in the game
Broken steel is the one I liked.Which fallout 3 dlc for xbox 360 is the best and why?
    all of them

I haven't heard them coming out on a disk like the Xbox 360 has and a don't think it will as Oblivion DLC didn't come out for PS3 on disk, just Xbox 360, so if you want to get the DLC you will just have to buy Fallout 3: Game Of The Year edition when it come out in October.

As long as you download it on with your hard drive on your system, you will be fine. I can personally say this will work since I've got multiple people on my system that can use the downloads I've made without buying them themselves.Does my fallout DLC work for all my profiles?

Get the Fallout DLC Broken Steel. It allows you to continue after the main story and raises the level cap.

Thanks =DIf I download the Fallout DLC onto my Xbox will it work on all profiles on said Xbox?
You will be able to play it on all accounts on your Xbox, as all accounts will be reading from the same location on your hard drive, it's only if your account is on a different Xbox or the content is saved to another device that you won't be able to play it. Your achievements though are account bound so they can not be transferred to another account, you would have to start from fresh. If I download the Fallout DLC onto my Xbox will it work on all profiles on said Xbox?
Yes you'll be able to play it over any account, but remember they must be on the SAME xbox. Example, say you have DLC on your hd then go to a friends, no you'll not have it.. unless you bring your hd. Since xbox is held under a Harddrive, everything is stored in there, doesn't matter which account you are on, you have the same save files. (same as playstation 3)
