Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?

I just started playing Fallout 3 after a long time from giving up on it a while back. Now I see that theres alot of new DLC for the game. Are any of them good to play before i actually start playing fallout 3 so i can get better equipment i guess for a head start in the real game?Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?
you could do operation anchorage.
The only thing that is really good to get sort of early is the Winterized T-51b Power Armor that you earn at the end of the DLC called Operation Anchorage. But to wear the armor, you will need special training that you can only get from a guy at the Brotherhood's Citadel, and I think his name is Paladin Gunny. He has to teach you how to wear Power Armor. Otherwise, you won't be able to wear any Power Armor.Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?
The first thing I always do is go do the Operation: Anchorage side quest. Then I do something called the "Gary 23 glitch". It basically entails getting weapons from the simulated mission inside the pod the bulk of the quest takes place in and transporting them into your "real world" inventory. These weapons are simulated, so they are unbreakable. Also the Chinese stealth armor is quite an asset for people who like to sneak around. It's basically a suit that has a permanent stealth boy on it that activates and remains in play until you get up from crouching.

Other than the peforator rifle (a silent assault rifle) you get from The Pitt DLC, no other side quest are worth playing at the start of the game, or really suited for a beginner level player for that matter.

Hope I helped
All add on packs for Fallout 3 are amazing and have good story lines and unique equipment. Each add on provides certain things like the add on Mothership Zeta provides excellent energy and explosives supplies such alien blasters and cyro mines. Broken Steel for an expanded story line and some extra quests to kick some enclave *** and prolong your characters life and level span (the super mutant overlords and albino rad scorpions just are unbelievable though health wise). Operation Anchorage to upgrade you character with power armor (Winterized TB-51 power armor although the ordinary TB-51 armor in classic fallout 3 has 5 more DT than its winterized counterpart) and sneaking armor which is a cool chinese stleath outfit which acts like a stealth boy provides invisibilty but only provides 15 sneak than the stealth boys 100 (still good though). The Pitt which has good melee weaponry and Point Lookout which has good weapons for small guns.Any DLC for Fallout 3 that I should play before i actually play the real fallout game?
There all equally good but you don't need to play any of them first. The broken steel you have to play after you finish fallout 3 it adds to the storyline at the end.
